Welcome to the Amateur Challenge Tournament... or "The ACT", for short. While the ACT may only be a yearly event, I thought it was a nice idea for the event to have its own place in cyberspace so that participants, potential players, sponsors, and other interested parties to have one area online where they could all find information about the tournament. With luck, this website can answer most or all of the questions that you may have about the event.
What is it?
The ACT is a disc golf tournament that caters to the Amateur player of the sport. What makes a player an "Amateur"? Simply stated, if you're not sure, then you more than likely are one! Pros play for cash winnings while Ams play for prizes or trophies, to make a long story short. And the ACT is an event that caters to the players who don't play often, may have never played a tournament... may have never played the game at all!

The ACT V is being held Saturday June 6th, 2009 at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE
It seems that many people are having trouble finding the info on the schedule for the tournament this weekend.
Park gates open at 8am, Player's Meeting is at 9:15am. If you are not there to go to your hole after the player's meeting, it is very likely your spot will have been given to someone else and you will not be able to play!!
