ACT VII is coming! Saturday June 4th and Sunday June 5th. 90 players each day. More info regarding entry fees, when registration will open, and more will be posted as the winter and spring progress. Last year we took down the servers when registration opened, and STILL filled the weekend in under 3 hours (the first 90 spots went in the first 30 minutes!). Will we break that record this year? Time will tell.
Until then, we will likely start gearing up for this year’s event by beginning a series of posts containing information to get new or less-experienced tournament players ready for the season. Whether the ACT will be your first event, or if you’ve started playing tournaments and are still learning the ropes about all of the experiences they can bring, we hope many of you out there will learn something in the weeks to come.

ACT VI Is In the Books!

Big thanks to all our players who came out this weekend to play despite the threatening weather forecasts. Saturday’s forecast storms became nothing beyond hot humidity, which itself was an adventure for the players, and Sunday’s forecast storms became an Emergency Broadcast Signal “tornado system coming through East Hartford, CT” which required us to suspend play for approximately 45 minutes about halfway through the second round. Other than that storm cell, though, we didn’t really see any lasting rain to speak of and everyone seemed to have a great time!
